Heading out tomorrow, June 6 on a new adventure. Many of you enjoyed following my trip back in 2007 so I thought you could follow along on this one, too. I will be doing a solo ride to Cortez, Co. I should get in about 4800
miles this trip in approx. 12 days

Although I will be traveling alone, once I arrive in Cortez, I will be hanging out with many motorcycle friends that I have known for years. We were brought together on a motorcycle forum, VROC. Vulcan Rider Owner's Club. Once in Cortez, we basically ride, eat and trade bullshit together. Life just doesn't get any better than that.

I hope to make daily posts here (hopefully pics, too) of my progress. Gotta give props to my husband for his support as I go on this adventure and for covering
for me at work while I am away.

Traveling that far alone, I have to admit that I am a little nervous but I am a whole lot excited so I am going to roll with that. All those hours on the road alone, perhaps I will 'find' myself. Now there is a scary thought. :-))

Feel free to call, text or email to urge me on.

In August I will travel by car to Maryville, TN to visit my niece and her new
baby, that will make me a great aunt. (Hi Tater) Hope to spend a long weekend
there. I plan to make it to the Dragon's Tail and put the G37 through it's paces.

The first weekend in November will find me on another motorcycle ride to
Savannah, GA where I will meet up with my BFF. (Shout out to Melissa) This
has become our annual get together. Can't wait for that. We will be hanging
out at Wet Willy's for sure.

I hope to see some you in my travels.

  1. So much for the 'big secret'....

I'm really glad you are getting to go after all but sorry I won't be there to see you. Greg's gonna be busy doing your job AND trying to keep that little dog from tearing up the house.

    Ride safe
